Community Involvement

The Junior League of Anderson County’s vision is to be a leading force in improving the lives of women and children in the community.  

JLAC has supported numerous community projects including Calvary Home for Children, Sunshine House, Children’s Advocacy Center, Nevitt Forest Elementary, AIM-Women’s and Children Succeeding, Special Needs and Disabilities, Anderson County Meals on Wheels, Hospice of the Upstate, the Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club and more.  

We also contribute hundreds of volunteer hours to our Done-In-A-Day program where members of the league volunteer at various community organizations for a “day” to promote their events and causes. Some Done-In-A-Day projects have including serving meals at Safe Harbor, a safe house for abused women and children, preparing meals for Calvary Home for Children, performing painting or other aesthetic improvements to schools and more.
